Cruise day is finally here! We started out early to take the Covid test. This was the last obstacle we had to finish and the it was smooth sailing from there (so to speak).
It took 15 minutes for the results of the Covid test and once we saw negative we knew all the hurdles were finished and we can get on our 50 day cruise.
I have to admit between all the doctors appointments, getting the minor surgery four days ago, needing the booster one day before the cruise; I didn’t think we were meant to go on this cruise. These obstacles only helped us trust God and go stronger.
After the Covid test, we met up with some other friends from Saudi. It is such a blessing to catch up with friends. We ate breakfast at their hotel in Vancouver and had a great time catching up.
It wonderful that they could bring us the port. We dropped off our luggage. What a pleasant and easy process.
We said our goodbyes and headed to check in. The whole process went smoothly and we were on the ship within 15 minutes.
We are so excited to finally be on our 50 day cruise.
Enjoying the drink package, delicious meals at the dining room. It is so wonderful that they can adjust to my dietary needs.
Open seating was great. We met some interesting people and had a lovely evening.
Unbeknownst to us masks are required until October 10. To get around this rule people are walking around with drinks or wearing a chin diaper.
Tomorrow is a day at sea - a day to workout, relax, and chill.
See you at our next Blog.
