How to Make a Better You – What Weight Is My Ideal Weight

This is an age old question. How do I know what is my ideal weight? Most people think it has to do with the number on the scale. In my opinion, it has a lot more to deal with than just a number. For example, I am 5’ 4” and weigh 120 (give or take a pound or so). At there are difference numbers on my ideal weight based on various formulas some including the BMI factor. I am comfortable at my current weight; however, no one stays exactly at a set weight. We all fluctuate some.

How you feel about yourself is the most important thing. When you where your clothes do they feel comfortable or tight? When you look in the mirror, do you say you look good or could stand to lose a few pounds? The outcome is there is no ideal weight. If you are comfortable with yourself, then that is the ideal weight for you. If you feel like you need to lose a few, then set a goal, and do your best to attain that goal. Find contentment in yourself for who you are and if you are happy about yourself that will affect your success with attaining the comfortable weight and “make a better you”.
