It is two months after the New Year and you are thinking; my new year’s goal was to choose healthier habits. The problem is holiday treats still remain in the house. Many of you may have sweets left over from Christmas, but if you are like me those were gone pretty quickly...I sure love my sweets. Recently we celebrated Valentine's Day and the sweets have returned. So what do you do? Eat them all at once? Just Kidding... for many of us giving up sweets is almost impossible. I know it is for me. A suggestion is to freeze those sweets and then ration one sweet per day or if you are like me, I am doing one after lunch and one after dinner. So that is two per day. I just need a sweet flavor after a meal. Another suggestion is to eat a mint after a meal. It still gives that sweet flavor with very little calories.
