There are healthy and unhealthy ways to react. Read How to Make a Better You – Healthy Ways to do Deal with Frustration and Helplessness. There are many things that cause us to feel frustrated, like there is no solution. Human nature has two main ways to deal with these feelings: fight or flight. However, we can choose to develop healthy reactions through thinking before acting, communication, using an empathy sheet, and seeking professional help if needed.

This is sure a thought-provoking question. I would say most of the time I don't like confrontation, but I also want to be right. My first reaction is try to deal with the situation immediately, but then if confrontation happens I will want to run. However, I know that won't be helpful to fix the situation. I like the idea of doing an empathy sheet and remembering not to react first, but to stop, think, pray, write everything down and then deal with what was the frustration or problem. Thank you for this information, I will try to use it the next time I feel frustrated or backed in a corner.
